For a custom floating platform branding enquiry, send your starting model, logo artwork, colour references and a marked placement sketch together. Add quantity and delivery country. Treat the sketch as a request for review: the agreed drawing and written quotation should define what will actually be produced.
DSPR’s custom-project information identifies logo artwork, colours, dimensions and design approval as topics to discuss. The checklist below helps turn those topics into a brief for a single-level floating bar or shaded lounge. It is a preparation tool, not a promise that every proposed graphic or finish can be supplied.
1. Name the starting layout before choosing logo positions
Identify the model or describe the layout you need. A canopy, a counter, a sofa back and the outside edge of a platform are different positions to discuss. Avoid writing only “logo on the front”: mark which side faces the dock, which side faces the water, and where people will normally approach.
For example, a buyer considering the Cabana Floating Lounge can mark a proposed canopy-facing logo and a separate seating detail on a copy of the product photo. Do not assume the pictured dimensions or furniture must remain unchanged. Use the sketch to explain your intention, then have the final dimensions, furniture and graphic locations recorded in the approved drawing.
2. Send artwork that can be identified without guesswork
- The logo itself: send the editable artwork if available and a preview showing how it should look. Ask DSPR which file formats the team can use.
- The correct version: name the file and revision clearly. Identify whether a symbol, full wordmark or separate text line is intended for each position.
- Orientation: show the direction the text should face when viewed from the boarding side and from the water.
- Proposed size: state dimensions with units, or ask the team to suggest a size for review. A mark on a photograph is a location reference, not an agreed production measurement.
If you only have an image from a brochure, say so. Request confirmation that it can be used or explain that new artwork is still being prepared. Do not approve a drawing containing an old logo simply to keep the discussion moving.
3. Separate colour references from the final approval
List the preferred colour for each component rather than sending an unexplained mood image. Distinguish the platform edge, deck finish, canopy, furniture and printed logo. A brand colour used in your marketing does not by itself confirm an available material or printing result.
Provide your brand colour references when available. If exact colour matching matters, ask what material references or samples can be reviewed, whether they have an extra cost, and what the team will use as the agreed reference. Record any accepted difference in writing. Do not treat the appearance on your screen as the final approval.
4. Copy this short artwork brief
Fill in the items you already know and mark the rest “please advise”. The custom project checklist can help with the dimensions and layout part of the request.
This enquiry form does not accept file attachments. Start with the brief, then send artwork and marked photos by email or WhatsApp with your enquiry reference. Keep all revisions attached to the same project conversation so the latest request can be identified.
5. Review the drawing and quote as one package
Before approving production, check the platform layout, dimensions, component colours, logo version, graphic size and viewing direction together. Ask whether the proposed position affects other agreed details such as handles, valves, boarding access or furniture. Let DSPR confirm the feasible arrangement; do not move those features on a sketch and assume the change is approved.
Have the written quotation identify custom changes separately from the pictured reference set. Freight is quoted separately, and a reference product price does not automatically include your branding request. Confirm sample costs, artwork revisions and the agreed approval stage if these apply. The delivery and support guide explains the wider order and follow-up process.
A useful next step is to request a custom project quote with the brief above. Ask for the drawing and quotation to be reviewed before an order is confirmed. Your enquiry starts a discussion; it does not take payment or approve production.
